Kika's Story [2]
Date of Meeting: April 23, 2006
This story is going to be a beast, so beware. Haha. Anyway, I went to this show with Michelle again so her mom took us down there and waited for us while we were at the show. So we got to the place and were waiting in line. And as we're waiting Eric & Andrew keep walking by and I remember Andrew was just like walking by really slow looking at everyone saying hi so of course we said hey. Pretty soon we were able to go in so we did. As we were going in I was on the phone with Brittany and like a minute after I was in Eric was walking by so I was like "Hey Eric!" and he's like "Heyyy!!" and gave Michelle and I hugs. Then I was like "I met you at the CD Release Show" and he was like "Oh awesome!" and then I was like "So how was the tour?" and then his friend comes up and starts talking with us so Eric goes on about the tour and he's like "So anyway the tour was really fun and I really enjoyed it." Then we talked some more.. I can't remember what about but I do remember that I mentioned that my friend goes to his church and how one time he sat in front of her and he was blocking her view because he's too tall, haha. So he laughed at that and was like "Awesome... awesome!" Then I was telling Eric how Brittany is in love with his voice and how she described how much she loved it and he was like "Aww..." and looked down hahah. His friend was like "Duuuude...." So then I asked Eric if he would talk to Brittany on the phone and he was like "Yeah, what's her name?" and I told him that her name's Brittany and that she lives in New York. So I dialed her number and gave him my phone and she answered so he was like "Hello?" and there was no reply because Brittany HUNG UP! So then he was like "I... I think she..." and I was like "Did she hang up on you?!" and hes like "Yeah, I think so..." and he felt kind of bad I guess haha. So he gave me my phone back. Then his friend was like "Leave her a voice mail message!" and I was like "Yeah, Eric! Do it!" and he kind of got all freaked out. He was like "Wait! What do I say? I don't know what to say!" And I'm like "I don't know! Just be like... hey Brittany it's Eric and go on from there..." and it took him a second and he was like "Okay" and I dialed her number again and he took my phone and walked off with it. And then his friend started talking to us and was like "You know he's stealing your phone right?" and I'm like "Yeah, pretty much, haha" and we were watching Eric pacing around while leaving the message and his friend is like "He always does that when he's on the phone haha" and I laughed. Then he was like "Sooooo what are your names?" and Michelle and I told him them and then Eric came back and gave me my phone back. So I was like "What did you say?" and he was like "I dunno.. I just said that it's Eric from The Scene Aesthetic and that I hope she can make it tonight and if not I hope she's having fun wherever she is..." and I'm like "...she lives in New York..." and he's like "OH YEAH! Darn it I forgot!" Haha. So then he was like "Well, I have to go so I'll talk to you later" and then he hugs us again and I'm like "Wait, can we get a picture?" and he's like "Oh, of course!" so his friend is like "Do you want me to take it?" and I'm like "Sure" so I give him the camera and Michelle, Eric & I get in our pose and are ready. Then his friend is like "Wait... what button do I press..." Haha, so I walked over and showed him. Then we went back to our picture pose and he took the picture. After that they looked at the picture on the camera and Eric's friend is like "Hahahah Eric you look like that in every picture!" and Eric's like "Ugh yeah! Why do I always look like that in my pictures! I look so weird!" It was quite funny. So then they walk away and I call Brittany and I ask her why she didn't talk to Eric and I ask her if I give the phone to Eric again if she would talk to him and I begged her to (she knows she wanted to, she just was too scared haha) so finally she said yes. So I run up these steps to where Eric was and I'm like "ERIC!!" and I think it scared him because he turns around really fast, haha. So I'm like "Here, she's on!" and he talks to Brittany and "steals" my phone AGAIN. And while he was talking to her he was walking in circles haha. So then a little while later Eric gives me my phone back and I thank him. Later I went to go buy two shirts, one for Brittany and one for me and I thought I had enough money but when I went to buy them the lady was like "You're 8 cents short" So I was like ookay... so I just bought one shirt, for Brittany. Then as we were watching Danger:Radio perform Michelle looked down on the ground in front of her and there was a nickel there so she picked it up and was like "Here's 5 cents!" and I was like "Now I just need 3 more" and I looked down at my feet and guess what? 3 pennies were right next to them! It was pretty amazing. Haha. So I went and bought a shirt for me too :) Then we watched TSA perform and I took pictures and videos and then we went home!

Kika's Story [3]
Date of Meeting: December 09, 2006
This show was the LAST show for two years and I didn't think I was going to go at first but then I was able to and I was soo excited. So I went with my friend Katie and we got there like a half hour before the doors opened and it was FREEZING outside. We were near the end of the line so that didn't help either. Anyway so we finally got in and we were all looking for Eric because I wanted to talk to him. So I found him and I was like "Eric!" and he didn't hear me at first but then he saw me so he came over and was like "Hey!" and I was like "I'm Kika from TSAlove" and hes like "OH! You are!" and hugged me. And then he was like "It's so good to actually see you and make a connection!" and I was like "Yeah! I didn't think I was going to be able to come at first but then I was able to.." and he's like "Oh so your mom was able to take you?" and I was like "Yeah.. when she told me I could come I was SO happy like I started crying..." And he's like "Aw, well I'm so glad you came! I'm trying to find the owner of this place right now because they only gave us 30 minutes to play and we need longer than that.. so I'm gonna go try to find him. But I definately want to talk to you again after the show so don't leave until I get to talk to you again!" And I'm like "Haha okay I'll talk to you later then." So yeah. Then the performances before TSA started and there was so much moshing and stuff... Katie and I were just like what the heck... but whatever. Haha. And so we were like trying to stay near the front but we kept getting pushed back. And like we found some people from our school and Eric's sister was one of them so all of us were staying together to keep from being thrown around. Haha. Then we just decided to leave the middle so we went out the edges of it. So a little while later TSA was about to come on and I wanted to get closer to take pictures and videos so Katie and I pushed our way through as far up as possible. Then before TSA came on Andrew was walking back and forth across the stage looking for someone and Katie and I were reading his lips because he was saying something and we figured out he was saying Eric's sister's name over and over so obviously he was looking for her. She was way in the back so Katie and I yelled "ANDREW!" and he looked at us and I was like "She's back there!" and I pointed and he got all confused and was like "EMILY IS?" and I'm like "YEAH!" and he's like "Will you go grab her for me?" So I had to go allll the way back to the back and get Eric's sister but I couldnt get all the way back to her so I was like "EMILY!" and she didn't hear so I called after her again and she heard and I was like "ANDREW WANTS YOU!" Haha, so then after that I had to go alllllll the way back to where I was. It was interesting. Then the show started. And this one girl fainted. So Eric jumped off stage and picked her up and went back on stage and got a chair for her to sit in for the rest of the show. Haha. Then after a few songs Eric was like "Okay I think we only have ten minutes left" And then like I guess the owner of the place was like "No" and he's like "What? We have more time?" and then the guy told him how much time was left and Eric was like "We have 30 minutes left? Wow!" Haha, so they played some new songs and stuff. I got one of them on video so that's in the video section here at TSAlove. Then later the show was over so everyone was kicked outside because there was another show coming on. And there was huge crowds around Eric and Andrew. Eric was next to the van and Katie and I were just leaning against it waiting for everyone to leave so we could talk to Eric again. Then while people were still talking to Eric no one was talking to Andrew so we went over and talked to him. We asked for pictures so we got them. And then I was like "Did Eric show you TSAlove.com?" and he was like "Yeah, he did" and I was like "Yeah.. I'm one of the owners haha" and hes like "OH You are?!" and then he hugged me. Hahah. And he was like "That site is so amazing. Did you take webdesign or anything?" and I was like "No... I learned by myself" and he was like "Wow. I was looking in the photo gallery and some of those pictures I don't even know how you got them. Like one of my puppy and I sleeping." and Katie was like "She's a stalker" and I'm like "NO I'm not!" Haha. And yeah then we talked some more but he had to go. So we went back to Eric and waited for people to leave. Then people left. So Eric came over to me again and randomly hugged me. And I was like "Haha you wanted to talk to me some more after the show...?" And he was like "Yeah!" And we talked a little bit. And Katie told Eric "She lives down the street from you" and yeah. Haha. He asked me how to get to my house from his. It was funny because I had a hard time explaining it but I think he got it. Then I was like "Yeah, I'm surprised I haven't like gone to your house yet and knocked on the door..." and Eric's like "Haha, that would be cool!" And I'm like "It would?" and he was like "...yeah" Haha. Funnyy. Then he left Brittany a voicemail again. And we talked some more about TSAlove. And he hugged me like 4 more times. And after a while of talking we decided we better go. So we walked down a little ways and it was creepy because that's how Seattle streets are at night. So we went back over to where Eric and Andrew were and Eric comes over and talks to us more. And I'm like "Do you have a water bottle or anything because I'm REALLY thirsty" and he's like "No.. haha someone stole mine or something. But if I did I'd give it to you" and I'm like "Aw that's okay." Then he hugs me again. And I'm like "I'm gonna miss you" and he's like "I'm gonna miss you too" and we talked about how people on missions can't use cell phones and they can only go on the computer once a week and stuff. Then Eric said he was going out to eat with Andrew and some other people and we asked him where but he didn't know yet. Then later Katie heard Andrew's friend talking about Denny's so we figured they were going there but we couldn't find one in Seattle so we went to one near our houses but they weren't there :( But yeah! Whew, that was long but it was INCREDIBLE!

Teal's Story

kay so i went to the show on december 6th in at hamilton st cafe with my friends alyssa and tom, and my daddd. and well when we got theree my dad deff walked in like he owned the place, so the ppl there thought he was a band promoter, so he got in freeeee. the manager of the band and shit asked my dad to be a bouncer for the place but we live in pa soo its to far, bummer. buttt she gave him, her cardd so i cann so call and find out andrrews number, woha. anyways me and my friends couldnt stay to see tsa play buttttt on the meantimeee wee met andrew a few times and was talking to him, hes a sweety. we bought t shirts and he signed themmm, wrote "mucho love" on mineee ;] and "thanks xoxo" on alyssa's. and then we left and sat on the couch and we saw eric walk by so we were all like heyy and we talked to him for quite some time, hes a sweeety tooo. butt we forgot to get out shirts signed by himmmm. rawr mad. but were going to another show sometime soon sooo yeahh. but then we had to leave soo we saw andrew walking around sooo we were like "hey omg we cant stay to see you guys play, so can we get a picture with you" and hes like "awhh you canttt =[, yeahh sureeee" soo my dad took 2 pictures of us because of the lighting and then were like "thanks soo muchhh" and he was like "noooo problemmmm" and then we were like "soo were deff coming to see you guys again, are they're going to be any shows around here anytime soon" and hes like "yeahhh im pretty sure there will be" and we were like "well i guess your manager gave my dad her card, so can we call that to find out?" and hes like "yeahh sureee" soo wee said our goodd byeess, and bought the show postersss, grabbed out shirts and w.e and left with smilies, but sad because we didnt see them play butt we will again soonn deffff.

Lindsay's Story

last night i saw the scene aesthetic with mary. it was in torrington which is about an hour away. that wasn't bad. my mom dropped us off at likee um 6:30. yeah the town was kinad creepy. but weee got there and peed and we saw jess and um we met her friend natalie who was really cool and we go to like all the same shows? which was weird. so we scouted for eric and andrew and theyre really not very hard to find. they just kinda walk around & stuff. so me and mary were debating when and whether to give eric his present . sooo. yeah he's going to argentina for the next two years o na mission trip. how amazing is that. so we both wrote him encouraging letters and i wrote out about a million of my favorit elines form the bible. i kis you not there were like 30. idk we gave it to him and he wa slike omg give me a hug and he hugged us both and like this guy comes outta nowhere and starts FILMING him hugging us and talking to us about argentina and like whne tsa is coming back.. and tunrs out that it was for the dvd. that theyre putting out soon. i'm so pumped to see it. ! yeah but he was SOOO cute. he was like "oh so you guys know about that? thank you so much, it means soo much." and then he was like "should i read it now?" and i was liek SHDSHSJKH NO!!!!. so i dont think he read it. but yeahhh. i dunno, i felt so good giving it to him. then we got our pic taken with him and mary talked to andrew about how they have the same daphne shirt. he's SO cute. SOOSOSOSOSOSO cute. yeah. then when gone baby gone got their and played the moshpit thinger was ccrazy. kinda liek scary i went in there and got knocked onto the floor along with half the other people in the stupid place. then these guy comes out and he's bleeding profusely form his nose and mouth and it was scary. so i was liek peace out. if tsa is liek this then buuump that. then tsa actually came out and played relly quickly. so cute. there was liek two speakers and just andrew on guitar and him and eric singing. it was perfect. they played so peter, you've become a pirate first. they played umm lets see, that, yellow birds&coal mines, this is a suitable valedictory(for katie:]), alvin maker's greensong, dear time traveller, the alamo is no place for dancing, and two new songs, and beauty in the breakdown, last but not least.eeep it was so good. then after ilike waited by eric for a bit and then people were getting things signed and talking to him forever so i just went ERIC can i just have a hug really quick!? and he like. he gave me the BESTTTT biggest hug ever. loooong. it was perfect. and i was like good luck. and he was like "thank you so much. seriously. for everything. it means so much." I cried. died. oy. then we went over by andrew and yeah. andrew is just a cutie. mary didnt wanna give him the doll we got him so i hadda do it. i was like umm we bought you a baby ugly doll so tha tyou would feel better. he made the CUTEST fact! and he was like "yeah im just getting over bronchitis, i've had it for two weeeeks and yeah i've still been singing." he's so cute. and he stuck the doll so it was poking outta his pocket and took a picture with us.

Savanna's Story

i'll start at the very very beginning. alright, remember the bulletin that TSA posted from their myspace about having a few shows soon? well i freaked out. and then when they posted the next bulletin that said "EAST COAST SHOWS!" i literally jumped up and did a really long dance only to open the bulletin and find that they would only be in northeastern states and i got sad again. one of the shows was in connecticut and my friend katie lives in connecticut so i thought i'd try and convince my mom to let me fly to connecticut to see them for the last time for two years. and come november 26, i had a plane ticket to connecticut. my friend tiffany went with me to the concert. we got totally lost on the way there from hartford and it took us almost two hours to get there, but we finally made it. the first person i saw when i walked in was , of course, andrew because of all the 19 million girls surrounding him. then i saw katie yay! so i walked up to her and she told me that andrew was waiting and i turned around and he looked at katie and me and he had a really big smile on his face and waved. the 19 million girls finally went away and we talked to andrew for a bit and finally katie was like "so this is savanna." and he just kinda looked stunned for a minute and then he gave me a big hug and told me thanks for coming. then i was like "this is my best friend, tiffany!" and he asked if she flew too and she said yes so he gave her a big hug, as well. then i had to go find eric and he was on the other side of the merch table and i asked him if i could have a hug and he said "yes of course!" i don't think he knew who i was at that point so when i was hugging him over the table, i said "i flew all the way from florida just to give you a hug before you left!" so he climbed on the table to give me an even bigger/better hug and said "oh my god! i heard about you guys coming up here. thank you so much!" this hug was so big i could hardly breathe, seriously haha. after that, i went to stand with katie again and talk to andrew some more and while we were standing with him his mom called so he was like "okay i'll be right back" so me and katie talked some more and when he came back he told us that his mom just called to tell him that there was a girl that flew from florida that was gonna be at the show [soon after this, we were in a different room of the armory and i asked andrew if he could talk to my sister georgia and he was like "GEORGIA!?!" because he had remembered her from over the summer haha. i was like '...wow you remember?' and he said 'oh yes. i remember everything']. we hung out some more, me and katie finally found alison (she drove from virginia to the show =]) and hung out with her until eric and andrew played. so they played a few songs and then they were about to play this is a suitable valedictory and eric said "these girls are amazing" and pointed to alison and her friend brittany. and andrew said "so our friend katie here has been to every single connecticut show of ours and her friend jess couldn't be here tonight and it's her birthday so this song is dedicated to them!" katie was crying so hard because jess couldn't be there and i just wanted to give her a big long hug the whole time =[. (she was on the phone with jess the whole time i think haha) and right before he started playing the guitar, andrew looked over and smiled at me and tiffany. so they played 'this is a suitable valedictory' and afterwards he was like "this is the most amazing show so far. there's so many of you guys here and we're so happy to be here. we're seeing friends again from over the summer and our friend savanna flew all the way from florida to see us. so this song is for them!" and they played 'yellow birds and coal mines' and wow it made me so so happy. that's probably my second favorite song. they finished their set and we stood off to the side and waited for everyone to leave so we could talk to them again for a little while. and i gave eric a huge hug and told him good luck on his mission. then after that i gave him like 18 billion hugs. while me and tiffany were standing by him waiting to talk he kept telling everyone "these girls flew from FLORIDA!" haha. so we got our pictures and hugs with eric and then we went back to talk to andrew. and he gave tiffany and i guitar picks and hugs and we got pictures and he signed tiffany's shirt and a CD for our friend, audrey. katie told him she hoped to see him again soon and he said "i'm sure we'll be back through here again sometime soon" and i was like "yeah through HERE!" and i told him that if he didn't come back to florida soon, i would have to beat some ass. so he said he'd probably be back through there soon, hopefully haha. then it was time to leave. =[ i had to say bye to katie and alison and andrew and the hardest to say bye to was eric. so i went back to give him a hug and told him good luck (again) and to have fun. and he thanked us again for coming all the way to connecticut to see them. december 8, 2006 is a night i will never forget. it was, without a doubt, the best night of my life.
